The fabulous Anna Dello Russo was being celebrated at The Room by The Bay this past April and we decided to deck it out for the one and only, ADR! The event, 'When Tommy Met Anna' showcased a plethora of fashion outtakes of ADR by Tommy and the mannequins were dressed up from head to toe a la ADR. Me being me, I wore a lace dress and had Xs taped on instead of wearing a real bra (Who needs Victoria Secret when you can tape em? Hahaha). Anna took a look at me and remarked, "Wow. You're basically naked underneath that. That shows confidence, I like it. But be careful when you're walking down the streets..." Ahahah! J'adr, Anna ;)

It's been a long time
I shouldn'a left you
Without a dope beat to step to..
Wow. It's been a while, eh?
Anyhoots, these were taken back in February during LGFW aka Toronto Fashion Week. Hands down, my favourite and the most solid show was Chloe Comme Parris F/W 10 collection. That buckled backpack made such a buzz and even made me tingle inside (Note: Am not a backpack girl!). Very 90s, utilitarian,'Hit-me-baby-one-more-time' gone dark & broody; Perfecto. All these beautiful pictures were taken by the lovely, Hanah Chung <3 Such a talented photog & the sweetest girl, check out her photo blog here!

Slouchy, thin sweaters, stripes on stripes, practically anything candy red: I liiiike. Been heavily influenced by Isabel Marant's SS '11 collection and I've been seeing it everywhere, especially Zara. Now if only the weather could get it togetherrr and let me slip outside with my red shorts! In the mean time, been going crazy with the nails and polka dots. Solution to achieving polka dots on nails: Bobby pin!
Sweater: Urban Outfitters
Pants: H&M

Ay bay bays! It's been a while. Anyways, last weekend I was lucky enough to be able to participate in a charity fashion show, Walk the Truth. The main goal of this fashion show was to support orphans overseas who have been affected by HIV and AIDS. All garments and accessory pieces in the fashion show are up for auction until April 8th, midnight (EST). All proceeds from the auction and ticket sales go to support programs for orphans overseas, as well as to programming and education on HIV and AIDS to schools worldwide.
I made a studded body chain vest and gunmetal handpiece as shown above. The bidding price for the body chain starts at $40 while the handpiece, $20.
If anybody would like to make a bid for the body chain, click here and for the handpiece, click here.
Important side note: These accessory pieces were made by LI LI SIE as a collaboration project with Stephanie Love and Vivian Lin. I do not take credit for the production of the 'satin and leather mini,' 'nude satin mini' nor 'black blazer' as accredited on these item pages. The reason as to why all our names are accredited on all these items is that all 3 of us, Stephanie Love, Vivian Lin and I are considered as a 'student collective' from our university so everyone is accredited for the looks that went down the runway.
Do make a bid if any of the garments or accessory pieces tickle your fancy, think about it - You get new clothes or a cool accessory piece AND you get to help improve someone's life quality for many years to come.
Make a bid, make a change in someone's life.

Barely any sleep, caffeinecaffeinecaffeine, workworkwork = That's how the fashion kids roll. Was working on a studded bracelet requested for the cover of Mass Exodus 2011: Zenith + Nadir's covershoot. Entertained by my hand model, Sarah, laughing together about nonsensicals abound while V deejayed in the background. Can't wait to see the cover!

Hahaha love how Lara pushes Abbey so convincingly like 'I dont give a ffffff - get outta my way, b'
It's momentous when models' simply change their hair and it consolidates their place as a supermodel. Just like how Freja and Anja cut off their locks shorter, Natasha P. dying hers blonde and now Abbey looking on top of her game than ever in platinum blonde. Definitely developed an air of mystery and fascination with her new look. Am quite obsessed with her ear piercings, her rings, how she rocks her eyewear, her personal style and how she can seriously pull off fur coats so damn well (without looking like a fur hag!).
Ahhhh.. Abbey does it gooood.
